York International Corporation seeks Master Scheduler at its facility located at 5000 Renaissance Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349. JOB DESCRIPTION: Communicate equipment schedule status and priority between our Global Regions and Chiller Manufacturing Plants. Support and improve ordering processes that affect lead-times, revision charges, manufacturing holds and date changes. Function as the communications liaison between operations teams and sales teams related to scheduling, tracking and on-time delivery of chiller products. Coordinate efforts between Applied Equipment departments and/or other product sources to ensure that order schedules are maintained, production capabilities are utilized, and customer needs are met. Support the Supply-Demand functions, including the Sales and Operations Planning process and highlight gaps or scheduling overload. Identify, track, and improve the lead-time for processing orders between Customer Service and the Manufacturing Plants. Identify causes and reduce time lost for orders placed on manufacturing hold. Maintain a professional working relationship with internal partner JCI teams to ensure that communications and information flow is efficient and timely. React to engineering changes that effect the ordering of products. Coordinate delivery appointments between customers and carriers as required. Proactively communicate any issues related to the delay or acceleration of scheduled dates. Highlight credit/legal hold orders that will impact shipment and communicate resolution identified by Credit Management. Maintain and update department policies, flow charts, process improvements. Consider supplier capacity and manufacturing constraints in the review and alignment of production plans consistent with marketing forecasts to achieve target goals. Travel Requirements: Up to 15% international travel to Mexico is required. Telecommuting: 2 days per week telecommuting allowed. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in International Relations, Logistics Engineering, Commerce, or a related field. Plus three (3) years of experience as a Production Scheduler, Product Scheduler, or related occupation in the international business industry or related industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:(1) Supplier capacity and manufacturing constraints in the review and alignment of production plans consistent with marketing forecasts to achieve target goals; (2) SAP Systems; (3) MES systems to provide production status; (4) Identifying any delaying risk, suggest a recovery option and help to prioritize orders; and (5) Salesforce for new sale opportunities, communicating predicted volume changes, and helping align production schedules.
