We are looking to fill a Principal Engineer – Materials Procurement Specialist position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. Responsibilities Conducting forecast analysis for material procurement, obtaining quotes, and placing orders for materials used in the preparation of clinical supplies, safety assessments, stability, and experimental formulated drug products. Researching supply chains for procured materials and requesting required vendor documentation. Working with multiple business partners to ensure material availability required to support on-time delivery. Examples of activities: Managing materials from order to receipt, including collection of all required documentation. Uploading vendor information to a supply chain request tool. Inspecting documentation for completeness Supporting warehouse management activities Placing orders through multiple internal ordering systems Adhering to SOPs, cGMPs and safety procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Required Skills and Experience Minimum 4 or more years Supply Chain, Facility Management or Inventory Operations. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Working knowledge of SAP, Fiori Apps, VeevaVault, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Technical skills to be able to navigate computer applications. Attention to detail, communication skills Desired Skills and Experience Procurement skills (analyzing/forecasting) Working in an operations support role Technical writing – including investigations, SOPs About Parexel Parexel FSP includes the CMC Operations group.
