Southeast. Always the right career direction. Job Description Summary Hours (1200-2230) Performs primary security work in the protection of persons and property. Respond to emergency situations throughout the facility and grounds. Enforces policies, procedures and protocols of Southeast Health and ACOM, as well as federal, state and local laws. Job Description Essential Functions Control and monitor the access points. Participate in ongoing training. Patrol campus and grounds for safety and security. Respond to calls requesting assistance. Monitors alarm systems and security camera equipment. Enforce policies and procedures of ACOM. Perform other duties as assigned. Direct Reports (supervised positions) None Qualifications Minimum Education Required High school graduate or equivalent Minimum Education Preferred High school graduate or equivalent Minimum Experience Required One (1) year in safety & security, law enforcement, or military experience Minimum Experience Preferred One (1) year in safety & security, law enforcement, or military experience Required Skills/Abilities Must be at least twenty-six (26) years old. Valid driver’s license. Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely. No convictions of crimes of moral turpitude; no felony convictions; no convictions involving possession or use of controlled substances; no history of dishonesty, cheating, or evading job or educational requirements. Ability to think clearly and logically, use good judgment, and make rapid and logical decisions in emergencies. Ability to recognize suspicious behavior.
