Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, answering their questions, and assisting them throughout their shopping experience.
- Cash Handling: Accurately processing cash, credit card, and other forms of payments for purchases made by customers.
- Point of Sale Operations: Operating the cash register or POS system to scan and enter product prices, ensuring correct pricing, and providing customers with receipts.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarizing oneself with the store's products to assist customers with their inquiries and suggest additional items that may complement their purchases.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Suggesting complementary products or promotions to increase sales and enhance the customer's shopping experience.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and free from clutter.
- Compliance: Adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and cash handling.
- Team Collaboration: Working cooperatively with other store team members to achieve common goals and ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
