As a Food Service Worker, you will: • Be Responsible for food preparation and other customer service activities. • Work in the cafeteria at various stations (i.e. grill, pizza, and deli), cashiering, serving hot line items to customers and assisting with catering. • You could be assigned to facilitate meal service for patient services, • Assisting in storeroom tasks for the department by receiving deliveries or delivering of floor stock to nursing units. Qualifications include: • Previous hospital food service experience helpful • High School Diploma or equivalent • Proficiency in English/ Bilingual in Spanish preferred • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Able to handle a multi-task environment • Food Handlers Certification helpful Work Schedule: Employment Type: Part-time Hours per Week: 20 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: Weekdays 4pm-8:30pm Shift Type: Evening Shift Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend required Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
