City/State Williamsburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Sr. Laboratory Scientist to work full days in the Education Department in Williamsburg, VA. *This position would require travel to multiple sites in the system Generous Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates! As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties are to perform laboratory testing and interpret test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommends contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.
