Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy rates, ensuring tenant satisfaction, managing property maintenance, and maximizing the property's financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
- Market vacant units and coordinate property showings.
- Screen prospective tenants, process applications, and execute lease agreements.
- Collect rent and monitor delinquent accounts.
- Respond promptly to tenant concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee vendors and contractors.
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance and property standards.
- Prepare and manage operating budgets.
- Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing laws.
- Prepare monthly reports for ownership or senior management.
- Develop positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of property management or real estate experience.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience with property management software (AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
