101 Insurance Group is seeking a Full-Time Underwriter Assistant for our Garden Grove, CA office. This is a wonderful opportunity for a positive individual looking to join our agency and assist with servicing our existing and new clients.
The ideal candidate has proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and be comfortable navigating company websites. They must have proven phone and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, able to work in a team environment, and be consistent. This is an IN-OFFICE position.
Bilingual in Korean, Spanish or Vietnamese is preferred, but is not required.
Job Duties:
- Receive incoming phone calls in a friendly manner and offer customer service
- Helping our underwriter team gather information, process, quote and bind insurance policies
- Uploading, filing and maintaining accurate records for client files
- Perform general office duties (filing, scanning, copying, data input, etc.)
- Provide day to day administrative support as needed
- Function as an effective team member to serve the needs of our clients
Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills including typing, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proven phone and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
