We are looking for a Process Specialist to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role. Role and Responsibilities: Lead the execution and success of Repair Programs within the Repair & Overhaul business. Responsible for supporting Engineering with implementation of new processes and products; including the use of data to find areas to focus improvement efforts and providing mechanisms to measure success. Lead manufacturing launch of new and revised products included in established company goals. Conduct research, design, and development of all manufacturing processes inclusive of production flow, assembly procedures and production equipment. Develop and test different machinery, tools and equipment for suggested manufacturing methods. Assist Team Leads, Team Members and other resources in achieving the Production Schedule while improving Safety, Quality, and Cost. Initiate and facilitate problem solving groups to resolve issues in order to meet the current and future needs of the company. Lead area problem solving using 8-Step and 5Why Problem Solving methodology to reduce quality issues. Create and promote a safe and inclusive work group. Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Minmum of 1 year of related experience, with specific experience in non-standard Repair Programs Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role preferred Experience implementing Production systems; scale up manufacturing, volume production, linear production, using continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methods. Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs Resourceful problem solver with proven ability to bring quick resolution to basic production issues with regards to equipment, process, or manpower Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and tact needed to interact with all levels in the plant Organized with good planning and time management skills Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self-management with little to no oversight Willingness to adapt to change and learn new technical and computer skills Ability to interpret designs to fixtures and tools preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift Occasionally lift/carry up to 25–50 lbs Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
