Education: |
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Requires the ability to obtain 24 Nevada Registry Approved care training hours per licensing year, with a minimum of 21 child development hours to be obtained upon hire as per Department of Social Services requirements. Applicants with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA are preferred. |

Experience: |
Requires six months of verifiable experience as a teacher/caregiver in a program related to the care of children less than 5 years of age. |

License(s): |
Ability to obtain sheriff's card or memo of eligibility from the State of Nevada within 90 days of hire |
|
|
Certification(s): |
AHA-CPR and First Aid within 90 days of employment. The position is required to obtain 24 Nevada Registry approved childcare training hours per licensing year and 22 new hire training hours within first 90 days of employment TB skin test or chest X-ray as required. |

Computer / Typing: |
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. |
