Minimum Hiring Wage: From $20.78 per hour Job Details: Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, days **Occasional travel to Fort Madison and Mt. Pleasant campuses** Job Description: A Brief Overview The position is responsible for conducting audits and assisting with regulatory requirements to improve the overall quality, compliance, completeness, and accuracy of medical record documentation for facility and professional encounters. The position will support compliance and revenue cycle functions by reviewing documentation practices, identifying areas for improvement, and providing education to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. This position is responsible for completing audit assignments and other related projects outlined in the compliance work plan. The role will educate providers, department leaders, and other workforce members on documentation standards and rules. The role will also prepare audit reports and collaborate with coding leadership and providers to reinforce best practices. Additional responsibilities include assisting with chart reviews, compliance investigations, and risk assessments. The role with partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to identify documentation opportunities, establish educational priorities, and maintain regulatory compliance. The position also monitors regulatory and compliance updates, using tools such as YouComli, and communicates changes to the appropriate parities to ensure timely awareness and action. What you will do Conducts compliance audits and reviews to assess the accuracy, completeness, and quality of medical record documentation. Collaborates with Compliance and Revenue Cycle leadership to identify documentation opportunities, support educational initiatives, and maintain regulatory compliance Collaborates with providers and staff to improve documentation processes that support accurate billing and compliance with GRH requirements and applicable regulations. Monitors regulatory updates and communicates changes to appropriate parties to ensure timely awareness and action.
