Meaningful Work From Day One Sr. Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining item forecasts through statistical modeling, as well as enhancing the demand plan with market, promotion and distribution intelligence gathered from cross functional partners in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. The Sr. Demand Planning Analyst will facilitate and actively participate in the monthly forecast alignment meetings, gather, and document assumptions, signal demand for production planning, communicate key changes and plan drivers across the org., and assist in executing the demand plan. This analyst is equally comfortable in systems and data, forecast modeling, and steering and influencing the consensus building process. What You Can Expect ● Facilitates and/or activity participates within the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand consensus meetings, incorporating input from Sales and Marketing. Highlight plan changes, document assumptions and risks/opportunities to plan. ● Participates in cross functional IBP alignment meeting with key business partners and effectively communicates information to help influence the consensus forecast by telling a story with data, trends, and analysis. ● Maintains Item forecasts within the forecasting system, monitoring trends, uses statistical modeling tools to generate 24 month rolling forecast, and enhances the Demand Plan with business intelligence gathered from IBP process and cross functional partners. ● Member of Demand Planning Global Center of Excellence: Manage, facilitate, and coordinate the volume forecasting, analysis, and Demand Review process for Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide. ● Will measure the forecast reasonableness, monitor the demand history, and analyze forecast accuracy. Communicate with supply managers to translate forecasts into supply network plans for Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide brands. ● Manage the statistical forecasting process and the integration of market intelligence. ● Conduct ongoing forecast analysis to ensure that best forecast methods and tools are employed to support each business. ● Review and revise forecasts to keep the system consistent with market trends and management expectations. ● Interpret business drivers that affect forecast / supply chain performance and communicates the impact / risks across the organization We Are Looking For People Who Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 5 years Demand Planning experience OR 10 years of combined education and Supply Chain Demand Planning or related Supply Chain Planning experience. ● Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of business associates. ● Experience with influencing a diverse group of professionals, with different priorities to a consensus. Quantitative and Analytical Skills with the ability to apply common sense. ● Demonstrated success utilizing Sales and Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning (SOP/IBP). ● Experience with demand planning software (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.). ● Familiarity with the inventory planning concepts and supply chain process improvement. Experience with forecasting algorithms ● Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. ● Passion to drive continuous improvement. ● Ability to develop and adapt to new processes. ● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with heavy or uneven workloads, shifting priorities, and deadlines ● Ability and willingness to travel 10-15% of the time including international travel.
