Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Dayton, Ohio Department: Operations Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial and automated conveyance equipment and machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot problems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and make repairs to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential problems or issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment and machinery Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjusting equipment. Make repairs to equipment and machinery, including replacing faulty parts, repairing or replacing electrical components, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Coordinate external equipment calibration and maintenance to meet quality requirements and demands. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair history. Process service requests and supply orders as necessary. Ensure safety guidelines have been made and implemented. Perform safety audits of the department and act as SME on safety topics and issues. Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures when working on equipment. Coordinate with other maintenance and production staff to ensure minimal downtime for equipment and machinery. Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as required. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field. Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for working with industrial equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required. Physical Demands: This position requires frequent standing, walking, and bending. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. May be required to work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors.
