As the Completions Superintendent- Upstream, you will lead field personnel, contractors, and vendors, ensuring flawless execution of completion operations in alignment with engineering plans. You will serve as the critical link between field crews and the completions engineering team, driving operational excellence across hydraulic fracturing, drill-out, flowback, and water management activities. You will coordinate all contractors and crews, manage water sourcing and transfer logistics, and oversee frac operations to meet design intent and performance objectives. Additionally, you will champion safety, compliance, and transparent communication, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration to deliver optimal well results. Responsibilities: Coordinates completion crews and contractors, ensuring seamless execution of engineering plans Aligns water sourcing, transfers, and storage logistics with engineering requirements, adapting to changing frac schedules Oversees hydraulic fracturing, drill-out, and flowback operations, collaborating with engineering for troubleshooting and optimization Ensures strict compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork Provides timely updates and clear communication between field teams and engineering to support operational goals Verifies team readiness through training and hazard identification, promoting safe and efficient work practices Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert and driving organizational initiative All other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: High School / GED 10 years of Completion and rig experience in supervisory role Other Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes Physical and Environment Work Requirements: Must be willing to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Use hand tools Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements: Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises May be required to work overtime Travel 25% – 50% of time Why Choose Williams?
