Shift: First Shift (United States of America) CT Radiology Technologist Trainee Position Highlights: Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a CT Radiology Technologist Trainee. This role will be great for someone that is currently working as a radiology technologist and would like to continue their education while working as a CT technologist. This person has a passion for fast paced CT and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work from the Nebraska Medicine medical campus in Omaha, NE. Shift: Full Time and benefits eligible (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday 8 or 10 hour shifts, some flexibility in order to accommodate a shorter workday with evenings to study if needed Limited weekends / No Call CT Technologist Trainee: Perform quality computed tomography (CT) procedures under the supervision of a qualified CT radiology technologist and radiologist, to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research relating to CT in support of the organizational mission. Demonstrate active involvement in the department. Required Qualifications: Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography (R) required. State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of department orientation required. Preferred Qualifications: Be able to manage patients in a hospital situation preferred. Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred. Proficient knowledge of multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and Radiology Information System preferred. Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
