Experienced Dishwasher — 100 Proof Hospitality, Idaho Falls
We run three restaurants a few blocks apart downtown plus a catering operation that regularly feeds 200 to 300 people at a time. We are looking for a dishwasher who has done this before and takes it seriously.
The dish pit is not a starter job here. It is the position the entire kitchen depends on, and we pay it that way.
Where you would work
- The SnakeBite — our highest-volume house. 290 tabs on a Friday.
- Park & A Italia — scratch Italian. Pots, pans, and prep ware.
- XVIII — upscale small plates. Glassware and detail work.
- 100 Proof Catering — large events, on site and off.
What you will do
- Run the dish machine and keep clean ware moving to the line without anyone asking
- Hand-wash pots, pans, and anything that does not belong in the machine
- Check and change dish water, monitor temps and sanitizer levels
- Keep the pit, floors, and drains clean through the shift — not just at the end
- Take out trash and break down cardboard
- Help with basic prep and putting away deliveries when the pit is caught up
- Close the kitchen down clean so the morning crew walks into a ready station
What we are looking for
- Previous dish or kitchen experience in a busy restaurant
- You keep up during a rush and do not let the pit bury you
- You work clean and you notice what needs doing without being told
- Reliable — you show up for your shifts, on time
- Able to stand for long shifts, work around heat and steam, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler's card, or willing to get one before your first shift
- Evening and weekend availability
Nice to have
- Experience closing a kitchen on your own
- Banquet or catering volume
- Any prep experience — we will use it
