As a member, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational continuity by: Covering critical openings in specialized areas. Occasional Schedule The Ultrasound Technologist performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures related to diagnostic ultrasound for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities • Maintain a clean, organized work area and accurate records. • Communicate clearly with team members and uphold patient confidentiality. • Monitor supplies and report needs. • Perform diagnostic and surgical ultrasound procedures. • Support training efforts and assist technologists as needed. • Participate in continuing education and implement new procedures. • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment. • Report equipment issues and ensure images are properly processed. Qualifications: 1. Completion of academic requirements from an ultrasound program required. 2. Certification in Ultrasound Technology by ARDMS required or must obtain certification within 2 years of employment.
