Facilities Manager – Portfolio Operations 📍 Raleigh, NC | Full-Time | 10 Federal Storage
10 Federal Storage is a fast-growing, technology-forward self-storage operator with 130 properties across NC, VA, GA, TX, SC, and beyond. We acquire, modernize, and operate unmanned facilities — and we're looking for someone who can help us keep them running at a high level.
What this role actually is: This is a field-oriented, multi-site operations role. You'll be coordinating facility repairs, onboarding newly acquired properties, managing vendors, and making sure work gets done — not just scheduled. You'll travel roughly 20–25% and operate with a high degree of independence.
You're a fit if you've:
- Managed facilities or maintenance across multiple locations (not just one building)
- Worked in field service, commercial maintenance, or territory-based operations
- Coordinated vendors, scopes of work, and capital projects without hand-holding
- Thrived in environments where priorities shift and you figure it out
Backgrounds that translate well: field service technicians, regional maintenance roles (retail, industrial, commercial), multi-site territory managers — self-storage experience is a plus but not required.
