Truck Driver Responsibilities
- Complete the daily logs
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Comply with all DOT and in house regulations and rules
- Communicate with dispatch
- Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
- Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure etc)
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather conditions or road conditions
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
