Duties
- Lead the end-to-end hospital revenue cycle management, ensuring timely and accurate billing, coding, and collections.
- Oversee team management by supervising billing specialists, coding staff, and collections personnel to foster a high-performing environment.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid and Medicare regulations by staying current on policy updates and implementing necessary procedural adjustments.
- Manage insurance third-party billing processes to maximize reimbursements while minimizing denials and delays.
- Oversee electronic health records (EHR) management to guarantee accurate documentation that supports billing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement policies to improve revenue cycle efficiency, reduce accounts receivable days, and enhance cash flow.
- Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure proper documentation practices that support billing requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle performance, providing regular reports for executive review.
