Summary: In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Vizient’s Transition to Nurse Leader program (TTNLP). You will use nursing leadership expertise to direct evidence-based curriculum development, facilitate virtual and in-person education, and partner with hospitals to launch and sustain the program. You will manage the TTNLP team as well as collaborates closely with the nurse residency providing strong curriculum development expertise, comfort and skill in virtual and in person education, and the ability to support hospitals through adoption, onboarding, and ongoing optimization. Responsibilities: Lead strategy, design, and continuous improvement of the transition to nurse leader program curriculum, including creation of learning objectives, educational materials, assessments, and application tools. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of program managers and future advisors, ensuring strong performance, professional growth, and alignment with organizational priorities. Facilitate virtual education sessions for nurse leaders at multiple levels, using active learning, adult learning principles, and skill based application. Travel to member hospitals to support program onboarding, stakeholder engagement, workflow design, and early implementation troubleshooting. Provide clinical and operational guidance to members adopting the program, including data interpretation, workforce implications, and leader development planning. Partner with internal teams to refine processes, improve scalability, and evaluate program effectiveness. Lead member workgroups, virtual communities, and networking forums focused on nurse leader development and best practices. Support communication strategies such as program updates, newsletters, and knowledge sharing resources. Contribute subject matter expertise to sales and member success partners to strengthen program adoption and demonstrate impact. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Master’s degree in nursing, education, healthcare leadership, or organizational development preferred. 7 or more years of nursing leadership experience, including service as a nurse manager or equivalent frontline leadership role in an acute care setting is required. Demonstrated experience developing and supporting transition programs such as nurse residency, preceptor programs, or leader onboarding initiatives. Experience designing or scaling national level learning programs highly preferred. Experience working with interprofessional leadership teams., including curriculum or professional development programs for adult learners strongly preferred. Experience teaching in virtual settings using interactive and application focused methods. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders. Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills. Ability to travel regularly to support hospital onboarding and implementation. Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with data and program evaluation tools. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan!
