Learn more about Sg2 at www.sg2.com Summary: In this role, you will rotate across 3 business units, Intelligence, Analytics and Consulting, during the 14-month Sg2 Associate Rotational Program (SARP). At the conclusion of the program, you will be placed into an opening that matches your competencies and business needs. Responsibilities: Intelligence Research, synthesize and write focused reports to address client questions. Partner with Sg2 subject matter experts and client service team to deliver high quality, timely responses to members/clients through written materials, presentations and over the phone. Collaborate with team members to develop and deliver original thought leadership, strategic recommendations, and tactical advice to members/clients. Analytics Support the development of analytical solutions to assess market opportunities for hospitals and healthcare systems. Ensure clients receive value from Sg2’s analytics and resources by creating presentations, data visualizations, and analyses. Train, educate and deliver presentations with members/clients on the uses of Sg2 analytics. Consulting Execute and summarize analyses to use data to “tell the story” in client ready presentations and materials. Synthesize and translate research and analytical results into clear and compelling recommendations. Demonstrate critical and creative thinking to make interpretations when available information is insufficient; takes initiative to share point of view to help team think of alternative ways of doing things. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. Master’s degree in an applied health care field (e.g., health care administration, health care policy, etc.) strongly preferred. No prior work experience required. Prior work experience in a hospital/health system or health care related company preferred. Experience participating in projects of different sizes and managing work streams preferred. Some experience working with interdisciplinary teams and across levels preferred. Ability to synthesize technical and analytical information into understandable recommendations for internal team and external members/clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a consultative mindset preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable with databases; familiarity with Google, SharePoint or other knowledge management tools preferred.
