Position Summary
As an IT Specialist – Help Desk, you'll be the front line of support for our clients. You'll help diagnose issues, provide quick resolutions, and make our clients feel supported and confident in their tech. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of tools and environments — a perfect fit for someone who loves to learn, solve problems, and work with people.
Core Responsibilities
- Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, network, and common software issues
- Support users remotely and occasionally on-site throughout Maryland
- Deploy and configure PCs, printers, and mobile devices
- Document solutions and contribute to our internal knowledge base
- Assist with user account setups, access permissions, and security best practices
- Escalate complex or critical issues to senior engineers when needed
- Deliver support with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
You Bring
- 3 years in IT support or help desk roles (MSP experience = bonus points)
- A self-starter with a passion for learning
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites when needed
- Bonus XP: CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft, or other IT certifications
