Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Labor Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support manufacturing and construction operations by performing a variety of manual and mechanical tasks, ensuring smooth project execution. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute directly to the successful completion of our projects.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical components and traffic signals on job sites
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and equipment around the manufacturing or construction site
- Use hand tools to perform mechanical tasks, including assembling parts and securing components
- Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing materials
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a secure work environment
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently
Requirements
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Familiarity with assembly processes and mechanical systems is advantageous
- Strong attention to safety procedures and quality standards
