We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labor Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various construction activities, ensuring smooth operations at our job sites. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to the successful completion of large-scale electrical and traffic signal projects.
Duties
Assist with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of traffic signals and electrical components using hand tools and power tools
Operate construction equipment safely to move materials, equipment, and supplies within the construction site
Perform routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure quality standards are met
Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including proper handling of tools and machinery
Maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
Skills
Experience operating bucket truck, boom trucks, skid steers and power tools
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines accurately
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout shifts
