Full stack Java Developer

Must Have Skills:

• 8 plus years of hands-on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6 plus years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3 plus years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

• 1 plus year of experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, Devin, or other AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, and productivity enhancement.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.

In this contingent resource assignment, candidates may:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Note:

• On-site interviews in Charlotte required, team will suggest times.
• Supports RAPU, Regulatory and Policy Updates.
• Application is policy governance platform, number of users have increased over the years.
• Multiple parallel initiatives on the application.
• Full stack of Java will include Angular UI, Rest API's, and SQL database with focus on the Angular front end.
• If not a full stack developer across all 3 parts, needs to have Angular front end and 1 other component.
• React is ok, will mean they’ve worked with Angular.
• The team has monthly releases, but contractors don’t usually participate, they stay at 40 hours.
• Backfilling resource who reached full tenure.
