Direct Service Workers (Part-time, Full-time, and PRN)

Location: Algiers, Gretna, Harvey, Kenner, LaPlace, Marrero, Meraux/Chalmette, Mid-City, Reserve, Violet

#1 In Home Care provides compassionate, reliable, and professional support to clients who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. We are currently seeking experienced CNAs and DSWs who are dedicated to delivering high-quality personal care services.

Available Shifts and Locations:

Algiers

• 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8 AM to 4 PM on Friday.

Kenner

• Saturday and Sunday Morning through early evening

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Morning every other weekend

LaPlace

• 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday: Transportation in community per POC.

New Orleans

• Sunday, 8 a.m. - 11 a.m., with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Monday 8 a.m.–12 p.m. with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Tuesday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday 8am-3pm with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Thursday 8am-12pm with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Friday 8am-12pm with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Saturday 8 a.m.–11 a.m. with a split shift from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

New Orleans East

• 7:00am-4:00pm Friday and 11:00am-6:00pm Sunday. Must have experience with bed bound patients, Hoyer lift, CAT, and Feeding tubes

Qualifications:

• Active CNA license or previous DSW experience highly preferred 

• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

• Previous experience with Catheter Bags, Feeding Tubes, and mobility assistance preferred

• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

• Dependable, committed, accountable, compassionate, and able to work independently
