CNAs or DSWs - Multiple Locations & Flexible Shifts

Location: Algiers, Gretna, Harvey, Kenner, LaPlace, Marrero, Meraux/Chalmette, Mid-City, Reserve, Violet

#1 In Home Care provides compassionate, reliable, and professional support to clients who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. We are currently seeking experienced CNAs and DSWs who are dedicated to delivering high-quality personal care services.

Available Shifts and Locations:

Algiers

• Every other weekend, split shifts: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM; CNA or DSW with experience in Hoyer Lift operation and personal care support

Gretna

• Monday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm. Hoyer lift. Dr appt accompaniment, diaper changes, warm daily meals.

Kenner

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 7am - 3pm: Light housekeeping, meal prep, grocery shopping. Bed bound.

LaPlace

• 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday: Transportation in community per POC.

Marrero

• Monday & Wednesday: 7am-4pm, 4pm-10pm, 10pm-7am, Monday-Sunday availability (CNA or DSW; experience with changing clients)

• Marrero (Weekend Option)

  • Two days every other Saturday and Monday. 9am-3pm; CNA or DSW

Meraux / Chalmette

• 7am-4pm on Monday and Wednesday and overnights on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. CNA preferred or DSW with experience in Catheter Bags, Feeding Tubes, and Personal Care (diaper changes)

Mid-City

• Part-time shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 10pm-7pm

• CNA Preferred will take a DSW Cat Bags, changing - client is bed bound.

Reserve

• 9am-1pm, and 4pm-8pm,7 days a week. CNA preferred, must have cooking skills. Open availability.

Qualifications:

• Active CNA license or DSW experience highly preferred

• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

• Previous experience with Catheter Bags, Feeding Tubes, and mobility assistance preferred

• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

• Dependable, committed, accountable, compassionate, and able to work independently
