Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate telescopic cranes on active jobsites
- Perform crane setup, including outriggers, mats, counterweights, and required attachments
- Review load charts, lift requirements, site conditions, and crane configurations prior to performing lifts
- Perform daily pre-operational and post-operational equipment inspections
- Work closely with riggers, signal persons, supervisors, and other field personnel
- Follow lift plans and established rigging and signaling procedures
- Maintain accurate inspection and job documentation
- Follow all OSHA, customer, site-specific, and company safety requirements
- Maintain equipment in a clean and professional condition
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other members of the project team
Qualifications
- New York Class A Unrestricted Telescopic Crane Operator License – REQUIRED
- Previous experience operating telescopic cranes
- Strong knowledge of crane load charts, setup requirements, rigging practices, and safe lifting procedures
- NCCCO certification preferred
- CDL Class A preferred
- Strong safety record
- Dependable and able to work as part of a field crew
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime, extended shifts, and weekends as project schedules require
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and background screening
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
