Must be an expert prospector, skilled at business-to-business sales, who creates deep, meaningful connections with prospects and customers. 1-800-Packouts helps homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, mold, and other property damage by packing, cleaning, storing, and returning their belongings. 1-800-Packouts of Southeastern NC is the franchise operator of 1-800-Packouts for this region of the United States. This partnership strengthens operational excellence, safety, and consistency, allowing the company to provide dependable, high-quality service while supporting long-term growth across Southeastern North Carolina. We’re hiring a Sales Manager to grow referral partnerships and drive revenue across the territory.


Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in restoration sales, construction services sales, insurance sales, or moving/storage sales
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Proven track record of meeting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue or sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
  • Not afraid of conflict, willing to dig into problems, and able to ask good questions to move the sales process forward
  • Presents our services to decision makers with clarity and confidence
  • Outgoing, energetic personality that is willing to cold call and meet potential clients face to face. Must be willing to follow up on all leads with professional and polite persistence
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to have a strong presence on social media
  • Must be willing to wear 1-800-Packouts branded apparel 
  • Professional appearance and presentation skills


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan which initially includes Wilmington, Jacksonville, Morehead City, New Bern, Greenville, Goldsboro, Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Lumberton, Southport, Shallotte, Myrtle Beach and other nearby communities
  • Build relationships with potential clients and referrals. Willing to research and identify new target clients
  • Identify new referral partnerships and business opportunities
  • Track contact list, referral activity, and revenue performance
  • Represent the company at networking and industry events
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure strong service delivery
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Must become trained and use the 1-800-Packouts technology package for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), job files, and reports
  • Drive up to 2.5 hours away to network and interface with potential clients
  • Sales territory will include all of Southeastern NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. Some travel during the week will be required
  • Must be willing to travel overnight to company training sessions, annual conventions, conferences, vendor events, and trade shows
