Job Description

Call Center Live Chat Agents will answer customer questions and queries through live chat. You will be a member of the primary contact team for consumers interested in the products we offer. In this role you will build relationships with our customers, using the consultative approach to understand the customer’s needs and then offer them the best moving solution.

Essential functions

  • Promptly respond to customer questions in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email, or chat
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Analyze and report product malfunctions
  • Update internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers
  • Must be helpful and professional
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Must be able to close Local and LDM orders with a history of high Local and LDM conversion
  • Up sell additional products as need arises
  • Leverage consultative sales approach to meet daily, weekly, monthly call and sales targets
  • Ability to track, report, and submit sales stats to management on a daily basis
  • Route calls to appropriate resources
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary
  • Complete call logs and reports

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales or customer service environment
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Strong phone presence is a plus

  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities

    Work environment

    Working conditions for this position are in a standard in office setting which is generally indoors in a controlled environment.

    Physical demands

    The physical demands for this position require use of a personal computer and phone on an ongoing basis throughout the workday. Additionally, the position requires frequent sitting, use of hands to type on a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, speaking, hearing, and vision abilities, and the ability to lift and carry up to 10 (ten) pounds or more.

    Required education and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in sales, customer service, retail, or Marketing
  • History of high QA scores – 90% or higher preferred
  • Previous call center, telemarketing, and / or cold calling experience is a plus
