Drivers/Truck Team Members
Syosset NY Location 
Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible Shifts Available  (Saturday's Required)
Pay: $20-25/hr  based on experience, responsibilities and performance.

What you’ll be doing as a Truck Team Member:

• Customer Service: WOWing every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and exceptional service

• Truck Operations: Safe driving and loading of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks with a team member (so a valid standard driver’s license is required)

• Junk Removal: Heavy and light lifting required for removal of "junk" from residential and commercial client locations (i.e. couches, chairs, appliances, recyclables, debris, yard, and garage junk)

• Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter

• Sales: Providing estimates to customers that call us for quotes to have items removed and educating them on how we safely dispose of, recycle, and/or donate what we can to keep as much out of landfills as possible - because we all need to care about our planet.

• Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers’ belongings.

• Professional & Uniformed: We always wear uniforms and provide you with what you need (shirts, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves) to represent 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and make a great impression.

Qualifications:

• 23 years of age (for insurance purposes)

• A valid standard driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years)

• Reliable, hard-working, and a great attitude!

• Previous customer service, labor, or sales experience an asset (but not required)

• Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly

Previous experience in the following is a plus:

• Delivery Driver

• Non CDL Driver

• Truck Driver

• Service Industry: Grocery stores, Retail, Restaurants, Hotels, Moving
