Accounts/Office Assistant

Our client, a well-established company in North Wicklow is seeking a versatile and dynamic Accounts/Office Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be supporting a variety of functions including but not limited to administration, accounts, and reception. If you are a part qualified accountant looking for a change, then apply today! This role is office-based Monday to Friday, permanent role, with some flexibility with working hours.

Salary & Benefits:

  • 35-40k DOE.
  • Join a passionate and supportive team.
  • Conveniently located in North Wicklow with parking.
  • 20 days annual leave.
  • Support in completing ACCA's.
  • Parking onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise day-to-day office operations such as managing reception, phones, and emails.
  • Ensure professionalism and customer service to visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Setting up and attending board meetings with senior management and taking accurate minutes.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements such as flights and accommodation as required.
  • Manage submissions of any leave/sick requests while ensuring data integrity.
  • Support with new employee onboarding and inductions.
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable department such as inputting, processing, and reconciling of invoices and payments.
  • Allocating payments and resolving differences in a timely manner.
  • Managing the reconciliation of transactions on credit card accounts.
  • Support the accounts team with month-end financial reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable.
  • Accounting technician is a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience in professional services.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT savvy and experience with accounting and MS software's.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and trust.
