Retail Security - Cork - Code 24

Lodge Service founded in 1919 is one of the longest established and well-known security providers in the Retail industry.

The Loss Prevention role is to support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment, providing a uniformed presence to protect the company assets and to minimize loss at our Cork Stores.

40 hours pw over 5 shifts pw

The Loss Prevention Officer will:

• Help our stores feel like safe and secure places to work and shop.
• Work closely with Store Teams and build strong relationships with local Garda.
• Identify any high-risk areas and act as a strong deterrent on the shop floor.
• Engage with store management to ensure Loss Prevention standards within stores are adhered to at all times.
• To identify weaknesses in theft prevention processes and bring them to the Store Managers attention.
• To regularly test EAS Systems and other operational alarms
• To operate our detention policy using ASCONE as guidance

Candidates will have :

· PSA Static License

· Min 1 year Retail Security Experience in Ireland or UK

· Professional Appearance and a pride in how they present themselves

· Strong report writing skills

• An ability to work as part of the store team in all aspects of loss prevention
• A friendly and pleasant manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €14.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PSA Static License (required)
