Our multinational partner company is looking for a Senior GL Accountant colleague for their team. 

The ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years of accounting experience, IFRS and HAS knowledge, and fluent English knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Senior Accountant:

• Ensure precise order entry and transaction processing.
• Manage accounting for management and statutory accounts, including month-end close activities, result analysis, and daily finance operations in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Coordinate and support accounting tasks with team members.
• Review and post gross-to-net reports for unusual variances; approve employee expenses based on financial considerations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit work led by the Accounting Lead colleague
• Ensure full functionality of Polish accounting in collaboration with the external accounting team.
• Work with the tax expert colleague to introduce and apply proper tax policies and accounting standards.
• Ensure adherence to Group Accounting Policies (IFRS), Hungarian Accounting Standards, and Polish Accounting Standards.
• Prepare reports, manage old items, and coordinate with the business department.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment
• BSc/MSc Degree in Finance & Accounting
• Very good written & verbal English communication skills
• ERP system knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office
