Power Plant Operator (GREECE -Thiva)

Heron Energy is looking for Power Plant Operator (Thiva - Greece)

Reporting to Shift Leader, jobholder will be responsible to operate the power plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and continuous operation of the power plant
  • Operate the power plant using the digital control system (DCS) to control the correct functioning of all automated systems
  • Anticipate difficulties, identifies discrepancies, errors, failures of the equipment and implements immediate actions to secure the health of the equipment
  • Perform systems walk downs and monitor the installations. Communicate directly systems unavailability issues and establish a notification and/or a report of each abnormality


Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Technical Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 year(s) of proven experience in industrial environment, operating automated equipment
  • Team player with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Organized and results oriented
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Fluent speaking/writing English Language
  • Fluent speaking/writing Greek Language
  • MS office Suite
  • Will work on (3) shift schedule
