Our German Branch is looking for a System Administrator IT-Infrastructure/ Backup-Administrator (m/w/d) (m/f/d).

For our Frankfurt am Main (Eschborn) location, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic IT Infrastructure System Administrator (m/f/d). This position is available full-time and is available immediately.

Job Duties/Responsibility:

• Administration of a heterogeneous server and application landscape consisting of Microsoft and Linux-based web, database, and application servers. General 2nd and 3rd level support for all customer inquiries.
• Administration and optimization of data backups, including monitoring and reporting.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the system/server landscape in day-to-day business, strictly adhering to Samsung's security guidelines.
• Server rollouts (including hardware and software installation) and migrations: Participation in planning, design, and implementation.
• Reporting on management inquiries.
• Continuous maintenance of infrastructure and service documentation.

Qualifications/ Skills:

• Completed degree with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment
• Very good German and English language skills
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Ubuntu & RedHat Enterprise Linux (very good knowledge required)
• MS Windows Server up to 2019 and AD (advanced knowledge required)
• VMware VSphere from v6.5 (advanced knowledge required)
• Backup administration with Veeam (advanced knowledge required)
• Advanced knowledge of at least two of the following technologies required: Oracle DBMS, MySQL/MariaDB, MS SQL Server 2014-2019, MS SharePoint Server 2014-2019
• Solid basic knowledge of network technology
• Cisco CUCM (basic knowledge desirable)
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
