Your role allows for huge personal, professional, and commercial ambitions, reporting directly to the President of Merkle Northern Europe.
Role Overview:
You will head our new business activities with a focus on innovation and excellence. Your role involves generating leads and building a robust pipeline through strategic marketing and business development efforts. You'll lead efficient and top-notch pitch processes to win new deals, develop agency offerings, products, processes, and pricing strategies to stay ahead of the competition, and manage new logo sales and RFP processes with finesse. The role also entails engaging with top-tier partners to strengthen and grow our pipeline, you'll build and manage credentials, cases, and content with our dedicated sales management team. Additionally, you'll help business teams develop existing clients and drive pre-sales, consulting, and CX storytelling, ensuring accurate and transparent new business pipeline reporting. You'll also be at the forefront of developing integrated solutions across dentsu’s creative and media practices.
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role means delivering new and develop existing logos across Northern Europe, achieving a win-rate of 60%, and delivering 30 qualified leads annually. You'll create high-quality and impactful experiences, foster happiness and engagement within your team, drive revenue and client growth, and establish Merkle NE as the most recognized brand within Experience and Commerce.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Growth Strategy: Proven experience in establishing and executing growth strategies for new logos and cross/up-sell to existing clients.
- Demand Generation: Expertise in overseeing demand generation, alliances, account growth planning, and proactive targeting strategies.
- Pipeline Management: Ability to manage a large pipeline and enforce adherence to growth methodologies, as well as using own network to attract new customers.
- Leadership: Strong experience in building relationships with leadership to align on services, value propositions, pricing, and processes.
- Sales Targets: Experience in defining sales targets and supporting tools to generate and win new business.
- Coordination: Ability to coordinate with multiple markets, lines of business, and alliance partnerships.
- Team Development: Leadership and development of a high-performing growth team.
- Influencer Relationships: Strong working relationships with consultants, analysts, and communications teams.
