Senior Accountant

The candidate will be mainly in charge of day-to-day accounting of Adepa Asset Servicing Luxembourg S.A (AASL) and several activities for a number of client entities (Commercial & Holding Companies).

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and correct handling of the invoicing of AASL, day-to-day bookkeeping, including invoices and cash payments.
• Responsible for the group reporting of AASL
• Preparation of financial statements, annual accounts under LUX GAAP or client’s reporting.
• Review the deliverables of third parties.
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Co-ordination with external parties (tax advisors, custodian banks, legal advisors, auditors, suppliers).
• Main point of contact for suppliers of AASL
• Maintenance of high quality operating standards, procedures and quality controls.
• Proactively contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent qualification by experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting of commercial and holding companies
• Good knowledge in VAT and Corporate Income Tax
• Fluency in English (written and oral) and French
• Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office
• Knowledge of commercial accounting software used for commercial and holding companies ; experience on the accounting software DeMaSy is a plus
• Person pro-active, autonomous, organized and rigorous with excellence and attention to details
