Location: Rzeszów (hybrid model: 3 days from office, 2 days from home)

The role is to provide a proactive and cost-effective service to ensure a continuous supply of raw materials at a value and quality that meets or exceeds the various Division’s and business’ objectives.

Responsibilities

• Building reliable and stable relationship with suppliers as a preferred and trusted business partners and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of quality goods at optimum cost,
• Managing the portfolio of alkyd resins, raw materials for alkyd and polyester resins and nitrocellulose (spend of 26M EUR) cooperating with 20 production facilities across Europe,
• Analyzing and comparing potential and current suppliers and performance; evaluating and recommending new or on-going relationships,
• Negotiating with suppliers,
• Performing a variety of complex special projects, which may include switching materials, new formula introductions, new material introductions,
• Tracking sustainable business results, including supply assurance, cost, quality, service and innovation, which are required to meet Sherwin-Williams needs,

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional direct or indirect sourcing experience having awareness of large-scale and complex Direct sourcing programs, a solid understanding of procurement best practices and a track record of success with direct materials,
• Demonstrated strong self-initiative, sense of urgency, and customer relationship building skills,
• Experience of working with cross-functional/cross-cultural teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
