Position Description:

We have an immediate need for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This position will interact with the Customer Service department to ensure that customer needs are met. Professional, proactive, and clear communication both internally and externally are mandatory skills in this role. Daily expectations include accurately executing incoming and outgoing materials/products, utilizing all Zinger Sheet Metal and industry-standard recordkeeping methods (paper and electronic). These activities will occur while maintaining a safe and clean working environment and safe work practices.

Daily Duties:

• Loading & unloading trucks
• Palletizing parts for shipment
• Scheduling shipments
• Potential for making some local deliveries
• Warehouse duties of organization and shipping prep
• Other duties as directed by Operations Manager

Requirements:

• Prior experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate
• Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic
• Trustworthy, willing to learn, committed to quality & customer service
• Value teamwork and be able to work independently with the need for little supervision
• Great communication skills
• Able to work Monday through Friday (Saturdays as needed) from 9 am to 5 pm. (40 to 50 hours per week)
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift 50 pounds
• Chauffeur license preferred, but not required
