Position Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, coordination, consolidation, and analysis of financial statements monthly, and ad hoc reporting for ZF Division I, CVS, and the ZF Gainesville LLC legal entity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate general ledger transactions with Shared Services organizations regarding routine transactions and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate accounts payable and receivable activity with Shared Services organizations.
  • Support Controller and Lead Financial Analyst with preparation of local, regional, divisional and corporate financial presentations and reporting.
  • Compile, prepare and analyze cost center accounting information supporting Gainesville managers adherence to Plan and OPV targets.
  • Maintain SAP local master data supporting material master, procurement, production, controlling and financial reporting.
  • Maintain local product profitability reporting including routine volume / price / mix analyses and product mastersheets. Develop an innate understanding of the product cost content and economic impacts.
  • Maintain local financial reporting and analysis tools supporting Lead Financial Analyst and Controller.
  • Support savings and estimation calculations with procurement, product engineering, process engineering and others as needed. This covers topics including VA/VE, CIS, product transfers, introductions, changes and ad hoc.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other manufacturing-related disciplines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated SAP understanding in FI/CO/MM/PP
  • Experience in production, quality, and logistics
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 awareness training
