Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 40 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center partners with Neighborhood Health Association to provide primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Account Representative to develop and secure employment opportunities in the community for individuals with diverse challenges which may include limited work experience, sporadic work histories , disabilities, economically disadvantaged and individual in recovery. The person in this position will assist program clients in the acquisition of job-seeking skills and providing vocational case management services to participants in the placement program. The person in this position will act as a liaison with employers and referral agents.

Essential Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Develops appropriate competitive jobs in the community based on participant preference and needs. Coordinates matching of individuals to job openings.
• May complete job coaching with clients in the workplace or outside of the workplace
• Completes environmental analysis and compatibility analysis for jobs developed.
• Provides feedback to referring agencies/staff; communicates with employers and provides follow-up/consultation services to employers and clients. Works closely with other BEES and vocational program staff.
• Markets the participants by educating community employers regarding the program concepts and advantages by providing dynamic and innovative public relations.
• Will conduct job search and employer expectation guidance; instructs clients in appropriate interview behaviors and employer expectations; assists in job search and resume development. Assists/trains staff in same.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with community employers (businesses) and referral sources.

Requirements

• Associates degree in business, marketing, vocational rehabilitation ,sales or related field plus five (5) years of job development/marketing/sales management experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, vocational rehabilitation, sales, or related field plus three (3) years of job development/marketing/sales management experience

OR

• Any combination of equivalent education and work experience totaling in eight years
• Preference given to individuals with experience in vocational rehabilitation, marketing and business management
