As a Sales Engineer, you would be responsible for driving awareness of CrunchTime & Zenput’s merged product portfolio within the restaurant industry. We use the latest sales engagement strategies to systematically engage and build relationships with executives. Key responsibilities include providing expertise and support to our sales team, identifying customer needs and current business processes and offering solutions that exceed their expectations and drive value across the brand. Additionally, this role will take the lead on tailoring solution demonstrations during the sales process, providing pre-sales technical assistance, and working with the AE to scope the implementation strategy including key system integrations. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and eager to make a big impact.
Support Account Executives with solution-selling into current and prospect customer base
Partner with Account Executives to understand customers needs and requirements
Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to the business needs and goals of existing and prospective customers
Provide a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answer product-related questions during the sales cycle
Deliver tailored solution demonstrations geared towards the prospects current pain and future state value
Lead the scoping effort for implementation and integration requirements
Act as the liaison between the sales and implementation teams
Prepare and communicate responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposal)
Bachelor’s Degree
Sales Engineer experience (preferably supporting B2B SaaS application sales)
Ability to understand our offerings and respond to all technical objections a prospect may have
Expertise in working cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, product, customer success)
Prior experience in navigating conversations surrounding software integrations
Comfortability in working with systems that require a level of customization
Proven track record of supporting Account Executives in meetings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate solutions through storytelling
Salesforce.com expertise
Background in supporting SaaS sales in the restaurant IT space
