Zenlayer Inc is Hiring a Director of Sales Near Diamond Bar, CA

Zenlayer is looking for a motivated Director of Sales to lead and expand our client base in North America and Europe. The ideal candidate will devise and execute strategies for the region, act as an overlay to the US sales team, and proactively lead and grow our revenue by forging strong relationships with new customers. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination and strategy on assigned key account(s), as well as the overall development and management of the company’s blockchain and financial services sales team. This role will include a competitive package with base and commission!

This is a hybrid position that will come into the office 3 days a week. Remote option may be available in certain circumstances.

Job Description 

  • Manage the US-based blockchain and financial services sales team
  • Generate revenue within the US and European markets
  • Conduct market analyses to understand customers’ needs and pricing structure in emerging markets
  • Be a thought leader in the blockchain and financial services industry to represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to promote products and services
  • Coordinate the close liaison between sales and other departments
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, comparisons. pipelines, and forecasts
  • Develop the sales playbook and pipeline in the designated target market(s) in order to meet and exceed established quotas.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts. Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend.
  • Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company's entire product suite.

Must haves:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 7 years experience in technology sales
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the Cloud Computing market and driving product development and go-to-market initiatives targeted at the blockchain/financial services industries
