Zekelman Industries is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Chandler, AZ
Job Description
Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries that designs, manufactures, and builds steel modular buildings in a full construction project setting, is seeking an Staff Accountant for the Chandler AZ manufacturing plant. The position will report into the Chandler, Plant Controller.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or certificate in accounting and ideally 3 or more years’ experience
- Must have working knowledge of Excel, advance skills desired
- Keen attention to detail and quality focus
- Driven to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
- Familiarity with accounting software
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supporting the Plant Controller in daily activities
- Reporting of daily Operations Metrics
- Prepare and enter Journal Entries
- Account Reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Identify areas of improvement within the finance function and implement changes
- Support Auditor’s requests.
