Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production Worker – Cold Draw for our facility located in Farrell, PA. Production Workers operate process equipment, produce, and package product, and perform other tasks essential to our production operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with hand and/or power equipment
• Running any/all machinery
• Material handling
• Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
• Operating Mobile Equipment
• Operating packing and banding equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 years industrial experience strongly preferred
• Good work history
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism
• Ability to work shift work
• Ability to work OT as needed
• Ability to pass hair follicle drug/physical/background check
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours
• Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
• Other physical requirements as needed for job
