Pay Range: $15 - $20

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Responsible for converting raw core and backer stock into cut-to-size blanks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily work.

Run daily test for machine calibration.

Ensure good cut quality prior to starting work.

Check incoming material to be sure it matches with the job ticket.

Review job ticket for any special instructions prior to cutting.

Cut panels to size as required by job ticket.

Must be capable of cutting multiple parts and pieces to get the best yield out of material.

Sort outgoing materials and transport to the next operation.

Responsible for monitoring saw blade condition and changing when necessary.

Performs Operator Based Maintenance.

Responsible for keeping a clean and organized workcenter.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
