ZAMP HR is Hiring a Remote 401k Specialist

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an outgoing and professional 401(k) specialist with previous PEO and Prism experience who can work with our internal benefits team to maintain and manage specific clients. We need someone willing to offer solutions or ideas on how to improve internal process and/or the support of clients as well as other team members. We are looking for someone who demonstrates integrity, high ethics, accountability, responsibility, initiative, sense of urgency and be a team player.

Duties Include:

  • Gathers the necessary information to set up retirement plan eligibility and contribution calculation rules in Prism.
  • Serves as a liaison between beneficiaries and participants and the plan administrator.
  • Collaborate with Accounting team to ensure contributions are being captured and sent to the 401(k) administrator.
  • Review, enter, and audit 401(k) plans and adjustments.
  • Provides effective and efficient customer service to clients and worksite employees in relation to retirement benefits inquires.
  • Exercise considerable judgement with highly confidential information.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory changes, trends and other developments affecting retirement benefits.
  • Utilize internal systems and developing knowledge to continually improve and/or minimize your workload and/or manual processes.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year retirement plan administration
  • 1-2 years Prism Software Experience
  • Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience
  • Superior time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (not required):

  • 3-5 years customer service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
