Zambezi is Hiring a Digital Media Supervisor Near Culver City, CA

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Media Supervisor to join our fast-growing media department.

The Digital Media Supervisor is responsible for cost-effectively driving engagement and brand / product awareness through a multitude of digital media channels including display, mobile, video, programmatic, site-direct, and social media. The ideal candidate will bring strong capabilities in the areas of negotiation, local media planning/buying, and cross channel optimization.

The role will start remotely and ultimately have a hybrid model from our office in Culver City, CA.

Responsibilities:

40% Strategic Leadership

  • Build strategic digital framework under manager’s guidance, ensuring consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation including presentation building
  • Supervise the development of media briefs and the strategic and tactical execution of all media buys, ensuring all strategic direction and timelines are clearly communicated to the inner-agency teams

20% Client Relations

  • Day-to-day client, industry, and agency-led communication: point team contact to clients and internal teams; also taking a key lead role in relationship management with the industry, specifically with vendor partners
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and partner agencies at appropriate level, by serving as the key agency contact
  • Lead research initiatives, identifying digital tools and resources that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process
  • Key presenter (in-person and via phone) for core client deliverables (e.g. campaign recommendations, reporting, POV's)

20% Team Development

  • Guide team in setting goals and project tasks & timelines, ensuring assigned team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills and media tools 
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching to maximize success, identifying training needs for improved performance, setting goals for career development and ensuring actions are taken

20% Stewardship

  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of account management and buy maintenance
  • Cross-check plans and all supporting documents (flowcharts, IOs, timelines, spec sheets, billing docs) to ensure accuracy and completeness before delivery or execution
  • Double-check and sign IOs with adherence to terms & conditions, negotiating changes when necessary
  • Clear billing and any accompanying discrepancies in a timely manner, with utmost fiscal responsibility to the agency and to our clients

Requirements:

  • 3 years proven expertise in online/direct marketing
  • Must have strong knowledge of digital media channels including display, video, mobile, programmatic, and social platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Google marketing suite (DCM, DV360), programmatic buying practices including working with 1st and 3rd party data, foot traffic attribution, and Multivariate Testing Tools preferred
  • Strong knowledge of online advertising tracking strategies and tactics and ability to work with internal production and technology teams to achieve goals
  • Strong background testing multiple online marketing channels. Ability to work with and test a variety of partners at any given time
  • Must have strong organization, analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, oral and written presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Amazon platform is a plus
